In early recovery, sobriety brings new things, one of which is time to fill. Learn to fill your time by filling your mind with new things! I suggest reading around, searching, learning new things, connecting with others in recovery- there are so many free, helpful, resources that are literally at your fingertips.
Long-term recovery still requires daily maintenance. A daily self-care regimen will look different for each person. We have to continue to strive to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be. The best way to do that is to continue learning and embracing personal growth.
